How can I explain Zachary David Grys? He is my child that taught me that NOTHING about parenting is 'normal'. He is my child that ran at the age of 9mo. He climbed on countertops and the top of the refrigerator at 1 year old. I found him hanging from a 10 ft tall basketball hoop at 3. He shorted out our household electrical system by dropping a quarter behind a nightlight at 4. He thought he could fly off of the top of bunkbeds because his PJs had a superman cape attached (yes, this was our first of many sets of stitches). He sprayed his whole body with silver spray paint, he sprayed his legs with doggy off pepper spray. He was the kid that had meningitis and kawasiaki disease. These are the hightlights of life with Zach and all before kindergarten.
In school, wellllll, school was not Zach's strong suit! He wanted to be outside climbing trees and building campfires. He hated reading and writing. He still prints when he writes cause he does not have time in his life to waste on good penmanship. He did not really learn to love to read until adulthood, now he is a voracious reader.
friend on this earth. These
guys are an awsome pair,
they communicate without speaking. It is a miracle to watch. and when you see them together you really see the hand of God.
I would be safe in saying that Zach is the favorite sibling of each of his brothers and sisters. Zach is the fun guy. He is never angry, except maybe at injustice.

hard to find what he wants as a carreer. He went to school and became an EMT, which he loved. He loved the rush of working on an ambulance, but ended up getting hurt and having to look for another job. While we were at Disney World, he had told people that he was interested in becoming a chef. It was arranged for him to cook a meal with the head chef at Epcot. As soon as he could arrange it,

One thing that you can count on with Zachary, he will make you laugh every single day of your life!
And in MY opinion, that is worth more than almost anything on
this earth! The gift to give
happiness and laughter to
others. That is Zachary.
